Potty training

gotta love it. At least I got Jace to sit still on the toilet for 10 minutes.

I had a relaxing birthday yesterday. It was nice having some time to myself.

Today I worked..and of course, since our group lead is off all week some issues popped up that I have to address now..I'm afraid someone might get fired.

It's 12:30AM

and I'm sitting here thinking about my sister trying out for American Idol..it's only 3 weeks away!! I'm so excited for her!! I was able to get the days off to take her out to Orlando to audition. She has a beautiful voice, but I'm hoping she doesn't let her nerves take over. I can't wait!!

I went to Cross Creek Ranch today. It's a beautiful place..but I think its too much money for what they give us. I love the fact that they live on the ranch and do weddings right there in their backyard, basically. Dream job for me. :)

Asterisk

I hate Verizon Wireless and all of their hidden fees.

Nothing too exciting the past few days.

Adam and I watched "Yes Man" last night. Loved it!! It's probably the only Jim Carey movie that I will ever like.

We had a meeting at work today. As of today, we are required to do 55 reqs an hour..it used to be 40 reqs. It's no big deal for me..other people aren't happy about it though! lol. Now they won't have as much time to gossip and cause issues in the department if the new rule is actually enforced. I hope it sticks, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't.

I have to work from 2AM-11AM tonight and right after work my mother and I have an appointment at Cross Creek Ranch. It's a bit expensive to have a wedding there but I want to give myself a few options. I'll let you know what I think of it tomorrow!

Life changing events

have happened since my last post.

I'm engaged!! Adam completely caught me off guard when he proposed. Planning a budget wedding isn't easy, but I love the challenge.

Some guy completed creeped me out when I stopped at a gas station the other night. Ladies, DO NOT stop at night. I don't want anyone to experience what I did. Physically, I'm unharmed. I got lucky that night and will never forget that loser's face.

Anyhow, back to wedding planning...the date will be October 9,2010. I've found a beautiful garden to have the ceremony at for just $85! The reception will more than likely be at Crowne Plaza hotel since it's nearby the park and the cheapest place for a reception so far! Fingers crossed!!!
